Reference numberLH000841DescriptionThe Municipal Sea Baths were opened January 1907 between the South and the Long Jetties. They replaced an earlier facility in South Bay near Arundel Street. There were separate sections for men and women and mixed bathing was allowed on Thursday nights ("Continental Nights"). Hot and cold, fresh and sea water baths were available.
