The Town Hall is in the centre with Central Buildings which were demolished in January 1966 to make way for the Exhibition Hall, opened 9.03.1966. High Street traffic runs straight through. The section of High Street opposite Central Buildings was closed in 1966 and the section between Market Street and the Town Hall in 1975.
