Reference numberLH001328DescriptionDaniel Mulcahy was born in Tipperary, Ireland 17.09.1830 and arrived in Fremantle, with his wife Lucy Ann, in 1896. He and his sons, Michael and Daniel Junior, went into the hotel business. Mulcahy's wife, Lucy Ann, was also born in Tipperary on 4.02.1830. They were married in February 1857. Mulcahy died at the Terminus Hotel on Pakenham Street, 18.09.1906. Lucy Ann and Daniel had 7 sons and 3 daughters. Daniel's funeral service at St. Patrick's Church (now Basilica) began at 10am with a Solemn Requiem Mass and the long cortege left at 2.30 pm for the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Karrakatta. A. E.
