These quarters were built in 1898 and demolished for the construction of the Henderson Street Parking Station (later Queensgate Car Park) in September 1971. The Parking Station opened in 1972. Demolition site cnr Henderson and Queen Streets. An auto auctioneers previously existed on this site. On the right is the fmr Crane House No.185 High Street. Crane House, a six-storey office complex opened on 30 January 1970. In 2007-2008 the building was converted into 21 apartments including a penthouse- the Gallery Suites Luxury Apartments.
