Fremantle History Centre

Fremantle History Centre is a source of historical information on Fremantle and East Fremantle. The collection includes publications, photographs, oral histories, biographical files, newspapers, etc. 

Much of our resources are available online on this website. The digitisation of the collection is an ongoing project therefore the resources available online are constantly updated.  

The History Centre at Fremantle Library is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

To access reference and offsite materials, please complete our enquiry form. This allows us to retrieve the relevant items in advance and reserve a research desk for you.
