James Moore Park (named in honour of James G. Moore who served as headmaster of Beaconsfield School from 1934-1940) is on the right. This park was developed during the Depression in the 1930s with the assistance of labourers employed under the sustenance scheme. In 1934 and 1938 Fremantle City Council provided trees to Beaconsfield School students to plant on Arbor Day. Each tree was dedicated to a pioneer of the state.Date1972PhotographerEdmonds, MurrayPhotograph FormatSlideDigital ItemYes
