Chamber of Commerce, Phillimore Street, officially opened by the Governor Sir Gerald Strickland on Wednesday October 30th 1912. Architect: J.F. Allen, cost: 1980 pounds. Just behind the Chamber of Commerce can be seen the tower and roof top of the old Fremantle Harbour Trust Offices in Cliff Street. These premises were used until 1962 when they were demolished. The new Fremantle Port Authority building was opened on 5.03.1964. Lighthouse tender Cape Otway is on the slip.
