Police Quarters at west end of High Street; demolished to make way for the Fremantle Tramways Carbarn built 1905. Mannings Folly, Pakenham and Short Streets; this palatial structure was erected in 1858, built for Mr C.A. Manning, Chairman of Fremantle Town Trust 1859-1867. Manning lived here until he died in 1869. Its flat roof and numerous windows gave it an appearance of a hot house. It was at one time suggested as a Town Hall. Demolished in 1928.
