Reference numberLH000549BDescriptionSalvaged cargo being transferred from the Orizaba in February 1905 to A.S.S. Company's Ouraka. High grade merchandise, eg draperies, confectionary, pharmacopoeia, formed the bulk of the mail steamers cargo. Some salvage was sold by auction at E shed on 28th February and later. The hull and remaining cargo was sold at the Cleopatra Hotel, Fremantle on 10.03.1905 to Chas Moore, a Perth merchant for 3,750 and 500 pounds respectively.
