Reference numberLH000594DescriptionThe P & O "Jubilee" class vessels were built in 1887/1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. They were Victoria (6522 tons), Britannia (6525 tons), Oceana (6610 tons) and Arcadia (6603 tons). Each ship cost about 200,000 pounds and they were at the time the largest, longest and fastest ships in the company.
