Reference numberLH000602DescriptionThe Orizaba was a Pacific Navigation Company steamer (6298 tons, 140.2 metres long) on charter to the Orient Line. The ship went aground on Five Fathom Bank during a thick haze on 17.02.1905. Small vessels were called to take passengers off, no lives were lost and most of the cargo was salvaged.
