On the North Mole is the original framework tower and the newly erected permanent light house is on the South Mole. The offices and residence of the Superintendent Engineer for the Public Works Department during the construction period are in the foreground. On the establishment of the Fremantle Harbour Trust, 1st January 1903, three rooms were rented from Dalgety & Co.
