Their daughter, Gladys Ruby, was born in 1887 in Stockport, South Australia and they moved to North Fremantle when she was a small child. By 1900 they moved to Kalgoorlie. Mr Edwards worked for the Evening Mail in Fremantle, The Sunday Times, Perth and the Kalgoorlie Sun.
