Reference numberLH000992ADescriptionThe original Rose and Crown Hotel,;the oldest house in Fremantle; which became the first government school in Fremantle, with Mrs Fanny Pulford as School Mistress. It was afterwards used as a boarding house for pupils of Fremantle Grammar School. In 1938, Hoyts (Fremantle) built a theatre on the site.
