Beatrice Maud was born on 19.10.1887 in Charters Towers, Queensland. She married William Henry Campbell at the Methodist Manse, Boulder City in 1906. They had four children: Victor Frederick (1906-1941); Ethel May (1908-1964); Violet Elsie (1909-1986) and Dorothy Joan (1928- ). William was a lumper on the wharves.
