Reference numberLH001016DescriptionJohn James O'Connor was born 8.11.1849 in Manchester, England and arrived in W.A. 8.06.1858 on the Lord Raglan. He married Mary Ann Sinclair on 17.04.1879 at Bunbury. On 27.11.1871 he was appointed Assistant Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages: 1.01.1873 Tidewaiter, then landing waiter (internal auditor); finally a Jerquer with H.M. Customs (1903).
