These men were among the foundation members of the Fremantle Bowling Club, inaugurated in 1897. The Reverend Taylor was a minister at the Johnston Memorial Church in Adelaide Street and J W Miller was Secretary of the Fremantle Literary Institute from at least 1902 to 1912.
