Reference numberLH001421DescriptionA postcard published by Murray Views. The shops on the left, on the corner of Elder Place, were built 1915/1916 for R A Wadham and I Lewis at a cost of 5000 pounds. The shops in the right front were constructed 1912/1913 by the Scaddan Government as "State Butchery and State Fishery". The project failed and they became the offices of the Metropolitan Water Supply.
