Originally sited just north of the old Fremantle Harbour Trust Offices (right in photograph), moved to Peter Hughes Drive in front of the Port Authority Building in 1926. Note time ball (wicker) used in conjunction with one o'clock gun. Universal radio time signal eliminated "gun" around 1938.
