Reference numberLH002658Description52 Watkins Street (Lot 24/25 of 84). According to City of Fremantle Rate Books this lot was vacant in 1918/1919 and owned by harold Eugene Jackson. A year later a cottage was erected for Mr Jackson, a labourer/cleaner. In 1919 plans were approved for a wood and iron dwelling to the value of $450. Cleraly Mr Jackson decided to build in stone instead of wood. The house was built of limestone quarried from the block by Harold Jackson and Bill Hancock of Bicton.
