Reference numberLH002706DescriptionThe troopship Khyber (1914-1931, 9000 tons) arrived in Gage Roads on Saturday evening, 3rd May 1919. As the port authorities were planning to unload the Dimboola with non union labour (resulting in "Bloody Sunday") and anticipated trouble, berthing was delayed.
