Reference numberLH003179DescriptionBydder House, at 1 Elizabeth (now Corkhill) Street, was built by a Mr Tennant for Charles Augustus Bydder, who moved in in 1914. He and his wife Lavinia (nee Hilton) and their eight children lived there. Charles Bydder, an engineer, worked on the dredge when the bar was removed from the harbour entrance and at State Implements and Engineering Works.
