Reference numberLH003331DescriptionBetween 1951 and 1953, 50 Austrian pine houses were erected in Hilton Park for the State Housing Commission. They consisted of kitchen, living room, laundry, bathroom, WC and two bedrooms. Similar houses were built in Willagee, Manning Park, Ascot Gardens and in the country.
