Reference numberLH003340Description'Pud' Cridland and Jack Mitchell building stables on an old tipsite near Walker Street. During the 1940s trainers leased land here to erect stables which housed up to 32 horses, owned by 'Pud' Cridland and Ted Temby. Many good horses were trained here and won major races such as the Perth Cup, Caulfield Cup and Queen's Cup.
