Reference numberLH003628DescriptionThe Swan River and foreshore at East Fremantle with the Swan Yacht Club (1904) building on the shore in the centre. To the right is the Castlemaine Brewery (c1898). The brewery and the bottling works were some distance apart and a wheeled container (known as a torpedo) drawn by a horse was used to carry the beer to the bottling works.
