Reference numberLH004087DescriptionThe two storey house belonging to Isaac and Rosina Helliwell in Swan Street was built on land granted to his father Robert, an enrolled Pensioner Guard. Isaac (1852-1931) and Rosina (1866-1930, nee Goodwin) were married in Port Melbourne on 24.11.1885. They arrived in WA on 10.07.1886 and their first child Harry was born in North Fremantle on 24.09.1887. Rosina had another twelve children. Isaac was employed by Fremantle Harbour Works, WA Government Workshops, on several coastal ships and at Mt Lyell Super Works.
