Reference numberLH004234PDescriptionCharles MacMillan Purdie was born in Bothwell, Scotland in 1867 and educated at the Hamilton Academy. He married Helena Jane Scott and they had seven children. Mr Purdie arrived in Fremantle in 1891 and managed W Sandover's factory for eight years. He then went into partnership with F Instone, Contractors and Plumbers.
