Reference numberLH004897Description51 Osborne Road was built in 1947 by Mr Barrett of Hilton Park for Edwal (John) and Doris Robinson. The family moved in on 1.05.1947 and paid the house off at one pound per week over eleven years. Originally there were canvas blinds on the front verandah. This was enclosed with sliding glass door and windows in 1988 at a cost of $690. The exterior walls were brickclad in 1986, when the front lawn was removed and replaced with a gravel and native garden and the cyclone fence replaced with a brick wall. The Robinsons raised three children in this house: Kerry, Kim and Jan.Date1950Photograph FormatPhotographDigital ItemYes
