Richard and Mary also owned and occupied 40 (originally 200) Lefroy Road, Beaconsfield. Richard was born on 5th June 1878 at Manchester, England. On 2nd August 1902 he married Mary Elizabeth Birtwistle (16 April 1881-11 July 1954) at St Anne, Newton, Lancashire. They arrived in Fremantle on 14th May 1912 on the Orsova with three children: Amy, 1903-1970; Edith, 1906-1979, married Robert Alexander Matier in 1930; Frank, 1908-1971. Their fourth child Richard, 1914-2000, was born in Fremantle. He was an electrical fitter with the Fremantle Tramways and later an electrician for Mills and Ware in South Fremantle. Richard Washington Baguley was Managing Director and Secretary of the Fremantle Foundry and Engineering Company Ltd, Beach Street, Fremantle from 1912 to December 1937. He was a prominent bowler for the Fremantle Bowling Club, and one of the original founders and Vice President of the Fremantle Rugby Union Football Club 1928-1938.
