Later there was a shop and dwelling and in 1898 Holmes Brothers, Butchers occupied the shop. In 1931/32, the property was owned by Arthur Elvin Davies & Company, an undertaker. Wallace Green and then Bowra and O'Dea, both also undertakers, continued to run a funeral parlour there until 2000.
