Frederick Scott Loukes owned and occupied a five-roomed dwelling in the street from 1895–1919. His wife Evelyn remained as occupier until her death in June, 1936. Originally known as No. 19, it became No. 9 between 1940–1943. The house passed from the Estate of Evelyn Loukes in 1938/1939 to Mary Maria Laming.
