Christian Brothers College Fremantle is situated on five town lots bounded by Ellen Street to the north, Stirling Street to the east and High Street south. This study covers the whole of the site, which includes the following structures, landscapes and other evidence of human activity: Edmund Hall, Administration Building, Brothers Residence, White Building, Marshall Wing, Bill Hughes Practical Arts Centre, Science Block, Landscaped and green areas. The report includes a compilation of documentary and physical evidence of the place, determination of the nature and extent of the cultural heritage significance, establishes an appropriate conservation policy for the place, recognising the various constraints and opportunities affecting the place (including client/user requirements), recommends management guidelines to implement the policy and to maintain and enhance the cultural significance of the placy, and provides a brief outline schedule of urgent works, and a regular maintenance schedule.
