This book tells the story of these and all the other ships of various nationalities which suffered similar fates during the period 1622 to 1850.; For each vessel a simple format had been used for giving the circumstances of the casualty, the details of the ship and, if the wreck has been found, a description of the remains. Easy to follow charts give the approximate location of most of the vessels and underwater photographs provide visual evidence of their appearance. Items found by marine archaeologists during excavation are also illustrated.ISBN0855641762Dewey Class910.45 HENPublication FormatBook
