Corporate AuthorEnvironmental Resources of Australia Pty Ltd; Western Australia. Fremantle Port AuthorityDescriptionThis report documents findings of ecological investigations conducted during the spring-summer period of 1973-74. It compares findings to results of earlier investigations. The report also incorporates aspects of a review report entitled "The Effect of Industrialisation on Cockburn Sound Ecosystem" compiled in 1971. The denudation of seagrass meadows is reviewed historically. Chlorophyll A studies indicate an intensification in the enrichment effect noted in the previous ecological report. This eutrophication aspect is considered in more detail because it may begin to impair recreational use of the Sound if it is not checkedImprintFremantle, W.A.
