CouncilDescriptionThis study documents the extent of the economic activity which is directly related to the operations of the Port of Fremantle, and the magnitude of the flow-on effects which this activity has in the rest of the economy. Impacts are measured in terms of employment and household incomes generated and flow-on effects are estimated using multipliers from the Western Australian input-output table. This information is an effective way to gain greater insight into the social role and the economic impact of the Port. Additionally, it is useful information for assessing the likely impact of future changes in the level of activity associated with the activities directly linked to the PortImprints.l.
