The study identifies and assesses the landscape components and features of the prison precinct which are important in determining its character and cultural heritage significance. The study also interprets the conservation policies, established in the various reports, as they apply to the prison landscape, and develops guidelines for conservation and interpretation of significant fabric and the dominant character.
