It was funded by the Fremantle Prison Conservation and Future Use Project, in which extensive investigations and research into the Prison site and its history and heritage potential were carried out. Interviewees include four prison officers: Jeff Enoch, Robert McLellan, Neil McKeaig and John Neale, and one prisoner James Tilbury. There are additional interviews and transcripts that are part of this project.
