AuthorDepartment of Geography, University of W.A.; Hay, Bob; Shaw, Brian, 1968-; Alexander, IanDescription Fremantle is a destination of growing popularity, and hence many of its streets and footpaths are becoming busier, especially at weekends and as a result the flows of pedestrian traffic are quite uneven. The Cappuccino strip on South Terrace and its immediate surrounds is a peak flow area particularly on weekends, whereas during the week the peak flow areas include retail areas to the north-east. In contrast large sections of High Street, apart from the heavily trafficked Mall area, show relatively low flows of pedestrian traffic at all surveyed times.Imprint[ Nedlands, W.
