This study reviews the performing arts community in Fremantle, assessing current needs, future needs and the future of the Performing arts in Fremantle. Thirty four Performing Arts groups and nineteen schools were found to be working in the City of Fremantle. Two questionnaires were compiled, one pertaining to the needs of the Performing Arts groups, and one to the schools of the Fremantle area. The report discusses community involvement in the Performing Arts Groups in the City of Fremantle; Performance Venues and Rehearsal Space in the City of Fremantle; and includes recommendations for a Performing Arts Building for Fremantle, recommendations for sites for Performing Arts Buildings in Fremantle, and recommendations for a Performing Arts Policy for FremantleImprint[Fremantle, W.A.
