The Fremantle Inner Harbour Deepening Project was assessed by the EPA and approved by the Minister for the Environment on 12 October 1988. This proposal modification describes the major environmental issues relating to this development which have been identified through the environmental impact assessment process and include: loss of seabed; shoreline stability; source and quality of reclamation material; construction issues; water turbidity; and evaluation of existing environmental conditions and committments for the Fremantle Inner Harbour Deepening project.
