AuthorHoward, KayDescriptionBarrington Clarke Wood was born and lived in Fremantle for the greater part of his life. He became a councillor on the Fremantle Town Council in 1875. In 1883 he was elected Chairman of the Council and continued in office without opposition until 1885 when he resigned having fulfilled the three years allowed by Council laws.
