Henry Blinco, (1832-1907) was Chief Warden of the Fremantle Prison. The street was officially gazetted on the 13 March 1931. In 1951/52 the lot for the former house at 13 Blinco Street was vacant and owned by Primo Baccini, a stone mason from Italy who came to Australia to work his trade on the University of Western Australia. The first listing of a residence on this lot was in 1961 for Arthur Gosnold, a seaman. The property was built by Mensearos and Thurzo builders and remained in the Gosnold family until 1994. The house has been demolished.
