Two cottages are located on this lot (95-97 semi detached pair) both owned by Francis Ward. 95 Ellen Street was then number 210 and the occupant was Edward Richards, a secretary. Francis Ward was the owner/occupier from 1905/06 until at least the mid1920s. By 1930/31 Albert Dukes Thomas was the owner and the occupant is listed as Marcia Thomas. The Thomas’ still owned and resided at 95 Ellen Street in 1951/52. The house was originally numbered 210 but this changed to 83 in the mid1930s and changed again to the current number in the 1951/52 rate period. The house is on part of Lot 1369.
