The house was originally number 115 and became number 36 when the whole street was renumbered in 1939. Aerial photos (Landgate) show that between 2000 and 2004 the house was reroofed. Between 2004 and 2010 the rear of the lot subdivided for another house (36a). An extension was recently (c2012) built to the rear and a new carport on the east side.Physical DescriptionHouse, 36 Forrest Street is a single storey masonry and iron house constructed as a simple Federation Bungalow style of architecture.
