From colour photographs taken January 1996, the house is mottled red brick, with exposed brick on the lower part of the building and rendered brick above, a red tiled roof, leadlight windows in the front 2 rooms with a sash window either side of a fixed pane; a central front door. The house is double fronted, with the left hand room protruding, while the left hand side is recessed but has a tile verandah. The verandah has a separate hipped roof, as does the room on the left, with the main roof of the house having a hipped tile roof with almost no ridge. The verandah has a red brick wall almost to the height of the main wall of the house, with 3 square classical style columns supporting the roof. There is a brick chimney on the right hand side of the house, and a window with a red tiled canopy. There appears to be another chimney at the rear of the house. The fence at the front of the block matches the house, with loPhysical DescriptionHouse, 113 Marmion Street is a single storey brick and tile house constructed in the Inter-War California Bungalow style of Architecture. The walls are tuck pointed brick to dado height, and rendered brick above. The roof is hipped and gabled and clad with tiles. There are two red brick corbelled chimneys evident with chimney pots. A solar heating tank is prominent on the roof. The porch is under a tiled gable roof, and is supported by Doric columns. There is a half brick wall as the balustrade. The porch has a main door and timber framed windows. There is another set of timber framed windows to the side, with a tiled awning. The house is situated just above street level on limestone foundations with concrete steps leading up to the porch. There is a garage to one side with a modern roller door. There is a low rendered wall with red face brick piers to the front boundary line. The fence is an integral part of thre house, being built to match the facade.
