The structure could have been related to the corner shop on Lot 1 (114 Holland St). In 1917, Post Office Directories record a Robert Hicks living at No 12, and the Rate Books from 1920/21 confirm that a cottage owned by the Government was built on Lot 1467, occupied by Robert Hicks. Hicks lived there many years. When post office records ceased in 1949, the occupant was Mrs A Hicks.Physical DescriptionHouse, 12 Onslow Street is a single storey timber and iron symmetrically constructed house.
