The place is a significant landmark in the Old Port City of Fremantle. The place is of social significance as evidenced by its classification by the National Trust.ArchaeologyConditionHistoryThe Jebsens Building stands on the corner of Phillimore and Pakenham Streets and is a landmark. Formerly the Robert Harper Building, the building is a combination of warehouse and offices. Some changes to the facade were made in the 1990s. On file at the Local History Collection: Photographic record prior to changes April 1993, DA 382/84A. Currently (2002), Genesis Travel Pty. Ltd. Physical DescriptionTwo storey and basement, painted brick and rendered corner building with a zero setback from the pavement. The building has a bracketed parapet and a dome above the rounded corner, which is covered with lead sheets.
