Has undergone significant alterations but original form remains intact.ArchaeologyConditionHistoryLot 5 of 825. Rate books record the lot as vacant in 1926. In 1927 a residence was built on this lot along with a residence at 100 South Street and 122 Solomon Street. From 1927/ 28 this property was owned and occupied by Robert C.H. McKenzie, father to William (Bill) McKenzie, a Fremantle Councillor from 1965 to 1972 and Mayor from 1972 to 1984. William was born in 1928 and spent his childhood in the house. W. A. McKenzie is listed in the "Who's Who in Australia 1985". The house number changed from 210 to 100 in 1940 /41 and then to 102 in 1959/ 60. In 1953 plans for a sleep out were approved. Between 1964 and 1968 the owners are recorded as R. McKenzie and W. McKenzie. In 1986 a family room was added. Physical DescriptionThe single storey house is rendered with ashlar effect and has a terracotta tile hipped roof. The roof has a brick chimney, a half timbered gable and extends onto the verandah which is supported by timber posts onto rendered pillars. There are two storey additions to the rear of the house.
