The word “Salona” is embossed in an arch to the left of the head. Salona is the ancient Roman name for the modern town of Solin in Croatia. The medallion is mounted on a red velvet backing and housed within a patterned gold-coloured frame. The frame possesses a hook on the reverse for wall display.DateBetween 1st January 1995 and 31st December 2009ProvenanceA sticker on the back of the frame states that the image was produced at the 3rd Floor Salon Workshop, Zvonimir, Solin, Croatia.
