White is utilised to create wispy white colours and also waves in the ocean. A simple white and black outlined graphic that uses shapes, represents columns and the structure of the Jetty. There is white text along the bottom of the image reading "In appreciation for your contribution to the Fishermen's Jetty-2004".DateBetween 1st January 2004 and 31st December 2004ProvenanceThe plaque was presented to the City of Fremantle in 2004. Although the description of the appreciation is vague, it is likely that the plaque recognises contributions made toward the “To the Fisherman” jetty memorial. The memorial commemorates local fishermen and incorporates twelve timber columns bearing the names of 608 fishermen who pioneered the fishing industry in Fremantle, along with a bronze sculpture. The memorial was unveiled in 2005.Relevance to the CityMaritime heritage, fishing and community recognition.
